After Sennheiser launched the HD 660 S over-ear headset to replace the previous HD 650, today, the company continues to release an upgraded version of the IE 800 audiophile headset, named IE 800 S.
IE 800 S has a tweaked version of the company's Extra Wide Band (XWB) driver, which promises to improve the sound so that it will not be distorted when heard. The headset also owns a 7mm transducer designed inside, smaller than the headphones from other brands.
